3 THINGS YOU MUST NAIL WITH YOUR WEBSITE MESSAGING.

Every week we receive a lot of free assessments filled in by business owners interested in using PR to boost their sales. One of the biggest challenges we face is understanding what each business actually does.

No joke sometimes it can take us around five minutes of searching through a website to try figure out what people do or offer.

Your website is the first port of call for most potential customer. It's also one of the hardest things to nail message wise.

We must have changed our home page a million times! I bet you have too.

Most people give a website five seconds before forming an opinion.

You have to pass these three things in order for people to spend more time on your website.

1. Who are you?
2. What product or service do you provide?
3. Why should I care; what's in it for me and how will it help me?

I took a screenshot of Xero to show you how they do it brilliantly.

In case you can't read the copy, it says,  "From reclaiming your time, to reconciling on the run, Xero is online accounting software that lets you do business, beautifully."

I hope this helps you with your own website.
