This module is about building stories that the media will want to
run and working out what yours is.
A news story is when you have something new to say like a new product launching, a high profile staff member joining your company, new research to share, something topical or a quirky angle.
Your story must be what we call newsworthy i.e. new and interesting to the media outlet’s audience.
You will have received a personalised video response from us with our recommendation on what we believe your strongest angle is.
So now you know your story angle, work through the three steps.
In the first step you will quickly learn the theory, in the second you will create your media materials and the third you will reach out to media.
